A Pear(fect) Season
4 Programs, 3 Cities,
13 Incredible Artists
San Antonio Express-News former senior art critic Mike Greenberg named Cactus Pear in his top 10 for classical music in 2007, writing "Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio's annual summer bash would be an ornament in any world city."
This past July on his "Incident Light" website, Mike wrote, "Attending a festival concert, at the highest levels, is like eavesdropping on a freewheeling dinner-party conversation among really interesting guests...[T]he 13th annual Cactus Pear Music Festival...was a case in point, but there’s no surprise in that."
2010 will be no exception. There is something for everyone, all to the highest standards that have made CPMF such a success for 13 seasons. Of course, we always hope you catch all four programs in order to fully appreciate the depth and breadth of this music festival, both in chamber music and in the artistry of our world-renowned musicians. We look forward to our 14th. To view the 2010 musician biographies you can click here.
CPMF 2010 begins July 8 and runs through July 18.
Mark your calendars.
